Customs has a pretty good watch on the mail from Mex from my understanding. Mex Aus and Greece are major lookouts for the customs.

I would just cross with it, my bud hides it in his door panels. Not the compartment but he takes his door panels off and hides them inside there.

Customs are always on the lookout for packages from mex, they give the packages extra special attention. Which is why there is a 50/50 chance.

if you bring it back in your car, hide it very well, I just read a post on another board this guy tried to bring it back and he just had the stuff in his pockets in the jacket he was wearing and it cost him like $5000 in fines

its pretty risky to drive across the border...i had a friend do it with the gear strapped to his leg. they passed the mx cops but not the u.s. they got caught and thrown in jail, they werent there that long though because there was a much bigger bust for the 5O's. they just took there gear and scared the @#%& out of them, then let them on there way
