no thats cool....i inject more to the side....just seems not to be as many nerves on that side.....

are you a quick sticker or a slow one?

i'm slow...i just set the pin on the skin and slowly slide it in....its pretty simple compared to other spots....you may have a knot....some say they get knots that are sore until they hit that spot a few times....

Quads are thick, you shouldn't have a problem with 1.5. I do 2.5 easy. Take it slow.

As long as you aspirate you will have no prob.

no...i never do...its really one of the easiest places i think....after the first one you'll be able to do it with your eyes shut (but don't lol)

Warming the vial of oil in warm water really seems to help me when it comes to quads especially. Goes in like butter and there is minimal soreness/stiffness the next day.

Yep...nice long muscle belly that allows you to kinda rotate within the same muscle. I hit about 5 different spots on each quad.

I would recommend that you dont go too low on the quad. I stay pretty high and to the outside. the last time i went low on my quad, i took out the needle and blood hit the wall. freaked me out for a second.

I use 5/8th needle on the quads. But my legs and arms are extremely lean. Skin is real tight and thin.
I also go really slow with the stick and injection. You usually will not have pain if you go slow. But if you do feel pain when the needle is in, don't inject, do a new stick!
As far as bleeders, if you are fairly lean, look at your legs in the light or sunlight and pick a spot for the injection that is not on a vein. I always make an indention with my fingernail before I get everything ready. Never had a bleeder!(Yet!)
