Proscar
It is normal for a man to get a enlarged prostate as we get older. BHT or prostatic hypertrophy/hyperplasia is the technical term used. As it gets bigger it rubs agaisnt the bladder causing frequent trips to the bathroom or dripping discharges maybe with painfull urination. DHT (dihydrotestosterone) is believed to accelerate the prostate cell growth so alot of your aas such as deca is a DHT derivitive. As we age test levels normally fall thus leaving the test to estrogen ratio worse, meaning higher estrogen in your body. Estrogen is a known cause for abnormal cell growth to prostates. So you can see why aas can be a possible conributing factor. If you are predisposed to BHT then prolong continued high doses of aas with accellerate growth. A rectal exam and PSA (prostate specific antigen) blood work is needed yearly for over 40+ .
hehe , he said rectal.
Aviod clen and ephdrine as well.
Deca is not a DHT derivitive its also not to androgenic.Quote:

True, deca is a derivitive of 19-nortesterone and is a progestin. However, with 5alpha-reductase enzyme is converted to DHT a lesser androgen vs. test.Quote:

In clinical studies Beta Sitoserol has been shown to stop the binding of DHT to receptor sites on the prostate. Read more at www.youngagain2000.com
