This is just my opinion, but I strongly suggest staying away from aldactone (and Lasix too)..I've used both extensively and the side effects are harsh....severe dehydration, horrible cramping, terrible headaches...Lots of people use these drugs right before a show, but a lot of people also just use non-prescription diurectics and monitor their water and sodium intake.....For my next shows, I'm not touching any of the prescription diuretics.....I know this isn't an anwer to the question that you're asking, but I strongly suggest not trying Aldactone....it can be very harsh.....again, just my opinion. If you are set on using Aldactone, there are some good threads on this site you can research that have suggested doses based on your bodyweight......
