    injection problems

    i have a 30ml ,1000mcg/ml bottle of substance and plan to inject 1000mcg, i have a 23g syringe, how much shall i inject into the syringe to get 1000? one ml yes offcourse, but how much is that in the syringe.?

    The syringe (unless it's an insulin pin...which is denoted in 'IU's) will have measurements along it length..which will be in 1 ml increments.

    Thus.. '1ml' on a syringe is 1ml of the substance

    u kinda answered ur own question there bro, 1ml=1cc if u want 1000mcg and its 1000mcg/ml u need 1 ml. if ur using an insulin needle in iu's then 100ius is 1 ml.

    well, i dont think its a insulun pin, how you know? a never take insulin , i bought syringes and needles, should have said so if it where insulinpins...right?

    insulin pins are little like 29gauge and half an inch and its measured in ius instead of cc's or ml's

    1ml. If its a 23g needle, prolly 1 to 1.5", you just want to fill it to the 1. I fill it to 1.1ml to account for any lost through switching the needles to inject. I dont inject with the same needle i draw with.
