    why aspirate?

I am just wondering what is the scientific reason why you aspirate your gear before you inject?

its good to aspirate because you dont want to be shooting gear into a vein. its cheap insurance, but some choose not to do it.

I don't know why you wouldn't do it. I always aspirate and haven't met anyone that knows anything that doesn't. Like Iowa said its insurance that you aren't hitting a vein. When you aspirate if blood comes into the syringe then you take it out and pick another spot. When you aspirate you should get a few air bubbles, that will let you know your not in a vein.
