Adequan Log
Ok here is the deal.
I was looking everywhere forever trying to find this stuff.
Finally I remembered one of my class mates whose girlfriend works at an animal hospital. I got some adequan through her.
I weigh about 230, and in one of hookers posts he said a 200lb dude needs like 125 mg/ So I took 150 mg. Shot it in my quad. My leg was sore for a few hours then the pain went away. Later that night I had some gas and one slight case of the runs.
I sprained my ankle pretty bad about a year ago, and it was never the same after. 2 months ago I went out paintballing and twisted it so its been inflamed for a while now.
...Ok, so the next morning I wake up and my ankle does not hurt at all. And ALL OF THE INFLAMATION WAS GONE!!!! It used to bee when my ankle didnt bother me it was still like 20% bigger than the other one.
I couldnt tell the difference that morning, zero inflamation and zero swelling. I was thrilled to say the least.
Well, two days later, my ankle starts going back to its old self.....
This is the fifth day and I just shot again. A little gas and no runs this time.
So we will see what happens...
I will keep yall posted!Last edited by phwSSJ; 02-10-2005 at 02:06 AM.

Third shot..
My back feels great! I have (or maybe now its "had") some degeneration in my discs from full contact sports, my back used to always ache but its feeling pretty good now, no more aches and i can adjust it with ease! That is the biggest and most noticieable improvement so far now. No sides thus far except for some gas on the day of injecion.
any one else feel free to put their own experiences or knowledge on here...
actually it would be appreciated!

I'll admit my ignorance here. What is adequan?

I used Adequan for 5 weeks and got great results in terms of joint rehabilitation. No negative sides to speak of.

This stuff is really working good so far, I am going to up the doses to 200mg after my next shot. I feel great all over. Its kind of funny how when I injected for the third time, I had no sore feeling immediatley after, actually I couldnt even tell I stuck needly in my leg, soreness took about 20 minutes to set in, I thought that was strange.
My ankle is improving but I think I did something to it cuz it hurts and looks banged up, probably from muay thai prctice. I am going to go to a orthopedic surgeon to get it cheked out, maybe he can prescribe me some physical therapy, I am also going to tell him about the adequan and see what he thinks.
I'll post when I get more news...

What a coincidence, I was thinking of running some deca , but at very low doses, this is only to help aid my recovery from surgery.
I will probably do like 50mg a week for like 8-10 weeks,
at suh low doses I was thinking I could get away with using 4ad to counter deca dick..
what you guys think about the 4ad part????

I think the reason pain comes back a litle bit is because of the anti inflamatory part. It repairs dammage slowly but the big relief at first is from inflamtion.
To me it seems like a year on this stuff might to the trick, but I might be tottally wrong.
I am also gona start adding oral joint supplements to see if that magnifies the effect.
I found this bad ass thread on anabolicminds and the guy pmed me wih the details of how to make this bad ass joint gel, but they syst-admin shut down pms. I'll copy the thread and post it here for yall to read.
I know how much injuries suck, They are the worst thing ever. I am only 23 and sometimes I feel like I am fifty. That is why I wana try to help out as much as I can, I wana do my part on here. I dont know much about steroids as far as experience using goes so there isnt much I can say about that issue.
I just want to say that I learned A LOT from this site and I want to give back, and that I m glad that this thread is picking up some attention.

Joint Brew by "bow"
Just mixed up my first batch of a homebrew transdermal joint gel. The formula for the carrier is:
50% Aloe (99.3 % Pure)
20% Water
10% PG
10% Peppermint Oil
10% IPM
Carbomer 934 and Triethanolamine to desired consistency
The solutes comprise of:
44.4% MSM
16.6% Glucosamine Sulfate
16.6% N-Acetyl Glucosamine
22.2% Chondroitin Sulfate
Glucosamine Sulfate and Chondroitin sulfate have relatively poor bioavailability (26% and 13% respectively). I chose the ingredients in the carrier to provide a balance between delivering the solutes to the targeted deep joint tissue and increasing plasma blood solute concentrations by bypassing first pass metabolism. In addition to having poor bioavailability, glucosamine sulfate also has a very short half life in the bloodstream. In most of the clinical cases I found, blood concentrations (after oral administration) peaked between 1.1 and 2 hours after ingestion and then fell off quickly. While there is 50% less glucosamine in n-acetyl glucosamine as compared to glucosamine sulfate, the half life is much longer. Studies have shown that after oral administration of n-acetyl glucosamine, blood plasma levels remained high as long as 48 hours after ingestion. N-acetyl glucosamine has another unique benefit in that like chondroitin it can inhibit the release of the leukocyte-elastase enzyme, thus reducing cartilage degradation.
I chose to include MSM as a solute due to its natural anti-inflammatory properties. MSM is a derivative of DMSO. I found that my joints ?ached? much less during my last couple homebrew cycles. I can only assume it was the addition of the DMSO that helped.
My goal was to create a carrier that would allow me to apply approximately 1000 mg?s of MSM, 750 mg?s of glucosamine and 500 mg?s of chondroitin a day. At a concentration of 50 mg?s/mL, this would equate to a volume of 45 mL/day. If applied twice per day, this volume was not practical. There simply is not enough skin around the joints I needed to target. Thus, I mixed the solutes in the carrier at 100 mg?s/mL. While this concentration may seem high, I found that MSM, glucosamine and chondroitin were all very soluble. In addition, after application, there is no sign of the solutes on the skin. They appear to have absorbed completely.
At 31 years old, my joints have been hacked. Between professional Kick-Boxing and Skiing, my shoulder, elbow and knees are always aching. I underwent ACL (Knee) replacement surgery in May and I have been unable to lift more than a 10 RM weight on bench due to my shoulder injuries. I am constantly looking for something that may help. I will report the results.
BTW, my sinuses are also very clear from the peppermint oil.

Something I Noticed
I dont know if this is from the adequan or what but its weird.
I noticed this after my second injection.
I have been doing muay thai for a while and never ever have I seen this. When I do kicking drills on the thai pads or bag it is not unusuall to see some red marks on my shins and top of my feet. Kind of like when someone slaps you and your skin gets red.
Well lately I have been seeing a different color. It looks like a bright pink and very unnatural. Never have I seen this before. It takes a while longer for the markings to subside than usual and the color is very strange!
I am going to see my orthopedic specialist this week, hopefully, for my ankle and I will ask him about adequan. Hopefully he knows what the hell it is!
