Hello,
I've noticed that some people choose to go on long cycles, meaning 3 months or more... what are the pros and cons of going on a cycle this long? I have read that the best route to take when just starting out is to go 10-12 weeks tops.
Thanks

i have never done more than 8 weeks, and i just started a 13 week cycle today. wish me luck....
I think long cycles are great, just have proper PCT at the end, might even want to extend or add to PCT just to be safe. You do have to switch compounds or up doses if you do extend longer than 12 weeks, thats about the point where it starts to become an uphill battle for gains. I prefer changing compounds to increasing doses to keep sides in check and I think its worked better for me.
good luck with that cycle bro! you got hcg and proper pct right?
I don't come off anymore, but I think you should do a few 10-12 week cycles first before jumping into long cycles.
2 months into a 8 month cycle. so far, so good!!
I would never run a cycle for less than 10 weeks especially if you are using long ester AAS as it will be about 3 weeks before your body is in an anabolic state anyway.
The drawbacks to running very long cycles 16 weeks plus or never coming pff are that you will have to increase the dose every so often to keep seeing gains PCT will also be a lot tougher and if you are continually on for years you may need HRT for the rest of your life
Maybe just me but 16 weeks is a sweet spot! I get great results and still recover very quickly with clomid,4-5g of tribulus, and nolva.
There are three catagories of people that run longer cycles...(25+ weeks)
1) The experienced user (4-6 cycles experience)
2) The addict (Feels he needs to be on to make any gains)
3) The Inexperienced Idiot (Think if 10 weeks is good 20 would be better)
