veterinary steroids
i was just wondering, what are some examples of how steroids are used in a veterinary setting? what situations require a vet to give steroids to dogs/cats etc.? i cant imagine... race horses i can understand, and livestock makes sense, but why dogs and cats? maybe its a dumb question but i always wondered.....

its a good question. I took my dog to the vet a few months ago and I asked him,.." when does a male dog need testostorone"? He gave me a weird look and said, they never should need testostorone!

if they are cryptorchid(thats the wrong spelling....haha), which means one or both of their testes hasn't descended to the scrotum....a little test supposedly does the job....I have an alaskan malamute and one of his nuts didn't drop when he was a pupply around 8 months but he didn't need test, I just had it removed
