Oral Steroids Expiration Date?

Ive got some Anavar from a few years back that I was prescribed by a doctor. Its got a different name on the bottle - the actual drug companies name for it, but its Anavar. He gave me 2 - 45 day cycles worth and I only took one. So I still have the remaining, and was thinking of taking it this year while I got in shape to keep the muscle I built over the winter months.

Does this stuff ever go bad? The bottle says dont use after 6 months since the prescription was issued but all my prescriptions have always said that - and other things ( like pain killers and allergy drugs ) still work fine for me years later.

Also should I stop taking propecia ( that male pattern baldness drug ) while on the Anavar - Ive heard propecia pretty much negates anabolic steroids effects.
