Found finaplix cartride, its expired.. still good?

i found a finaplix cartridge that expired about a year ago... is it still good or should i not bother converting it?

i wouldnt.........

what do the pellets look like? are they sort of orange/brown looking around the edges? do they crumble easily?
if so, theyre definitely wasted, but other than that, a year is long time, and potency is already affected i'm sure. even if you got them to convert correctly, it would be iffy as to sterilty too. JMO though.........
