    Needle Size

I'm just finalizing everything I need for my cycle. I am going to order my needles and syringes from the AR-R website. I want to know what size length and thickness I need for my TEST E shots of 1 cc twice a week for my glutes and delts. and if it is a 12 week cycle (24 injections plus drawing out from vial and switching = 48 needles) then I need about 50 needles correct?

Just being sure Crane , I had already known that answer but I wanted to ask specifically for TEST E and delts and the glute just in case someone had anything different to say. And you can say I'm very involved so my post count is high.

you seem already pretty knowledgeable about most of the stuff.
i am just wondering why you are reiterating most of the information when you already know the answers to the questions. it just seems like you trying to get your posts as high as you can.

Ok so im sensing it doesn't matter what size the needle is as long as its at least 22g and 1-1.5 long. Right?

Since nobody cared to follow the link.....

23g 1.5 for glutes, 25g 1" for everything else. Draw with 21 or 22 and replace it with a fresh pin of a smaller diameter. The smaller the diameter, the less scar tissue you create. Unless you are injecting a suspension that requires a larger diameter pin, it is simply idiotic to use a pin of larger diameter than is necessary. Use whatever you like, but when you have to take a hammer to drive the thing through some scar tissue, you will understand why we say use a smaller pin.

I followed the link Swellin and read the entire thing. I just see different answers from these guys so it gets you confused. But you're the Vet, so I don't need any more info on this subject, I'm just going to go with what you said.

Bro, I did not mean it like that. You are doing the right thing by getting other opinions. I was a bit abrassive in my response, and I didn't mean it that way (I just now read it and it was not how I meant it).

Many people use the same pin that they use to draw, but there is absolutely no reason to do this...pins are cheap as dirt! Scar tissue sucks ass!!!!! Minimizing the buildup of scar tissue is certainly a good thing. The only benefit to using a larger diameter pin is the speed with whcih you can deposit the fluid in your muscle. A speedy injection is not a good idea anyway. Sometimes you might get a thick fluid that is too viscous to flow easily through a 25g. Heating the fluid before hand will be a huge aid in this process.

NEVER take the word of one guy!

The funny thing is Swellin, I actually wasn't being sarcastic at all. I really was speaking truthfully. But you're right You shouldn't take the advice of only one person.

I was also just looking at Syringe sizes at AR-R , the syringes without needles comine in 5cc , 10cc, and 20cc's. I'm 99% sure I have to get the 5cc one but I thought I would ask and make sure. I don't know what in the hell you can do with the 20 cc syringe.

You don't want the syringe without needle. you want to order them with your drawing needle attached. You also order your injection needles and just swap out after you draw. The 3cc syringes are plenty.

Not the optimum choice for drawing, but it will work.

I mean, its not gonna be extremely painful, but after lots of injections, you'll get sick of it. I doubt you can return needles.

I've used 25 guage for everything, including glutes. Just be smooth about it.

what you want to get is the 60cc syringe, its way bigger and easier to fit in your hand. You like a chalenge right?
