Mail question

Ok, I have a question that is a little grey from most of the back posts I just read. I ordered some gear internationally from a well known source in Asia (not thailand) back on the 1 of February. It is 24 days later and I have not recieved it yet so I emailed him and he checked the USPS site and it showed up as clearing customs on the 4. After I read that I got a little freaked so I checked out the site for myself and went to the details of the mailing history. It said that it was last in JFK on 2/4 and nothing has been done with it since, or atleast documented. I have not recieved a sezuire letter or anything so now I am wondering if I am possibly being set up for a controlled delivery.

I know that once (if it ever) gets to me I will not be accepting it no matter what happens. No gear is worth my freedom.

So does it look like a controlled delivery to you more knowledgable guys or what?

haha I would say 99.76% paranoid!!!

The reason I am freaked out is because 'Your item cleared United States Customs at 5:22 pm on February 04, 2005. No further information is available for this item.' And that was close to 3 weeks ago.

I'm thinkin if it says it cleared customs thats a good thing...but you never know. I'd just wait it out a lil while longer.

Keep the details off the board. The feds / dea don't need to read you had 500 dbol / 500 winnys come through JFK via USPS from Asia.

I wouldnt worry. But just as a precaution i would clean house. If they deliver it they want you to sign for it so they have a case...if you dont sign for it..they have a weak case or a nothing case.
