USPS would be my guess....the sheer amount of packages they get should mean a minimum chance of you getting caught for shipping something illegal.

If its domestic I would try a third party like mail boxes etc or something I do not think that they have such strict seizure codes so they probably only x ray for weapons and other dangerous stuff.

My assumption is that he was travelling within the states and even with customs I would still go with USPS as fed-ex and UPS have thier own agents monitoring packages

USPS priority mail if within the US. Add delivery confirmation for less than a $1.

Standard USPS mail has the most holes in the system due to the sheer volume of business, IMO. I have heard that there is about a 99% sucess rate.

So you guys think standard USPS is safest? What about Priority USPS? I have a friend in CA and I am thinking of getting it sent to my place of business, anybody with any experience with this? Or would it be safer to send it to my house? Any suggestion how to pack it to avoid breakage?

I say USPS. They handle a large quantity of packages. Just make sure yours doesnt look like anything out of the ordinarry.

Use USPS Priority, buy delivery confirmation for like 40 cents extra. The is no sig required by default. You get the ability to see it was delivered for 40cents and it does not get into the same database as Express or so I have been told.
