Injection sites and correct needles etc

Hi

I was just wondering if someone could put a list of muscles that are used to inject into along with the best and maybe second best type/size of needles to use in that area and any other info they think would help a noob like myself who is thinking about injecting into others parts than just the glutes!!

I live in the Uk and get my needles from a needle exchange for free but they are only the green top 1 1/2inch ?? needles. What gauge are these ?? 23g ?? I have used them once in my quad but it felt a bit strange when it went in, not sure if just cos it more muscular and solid than the glute (Hard to relax the quad) but maybe my needle was too big ?? I put it all the way in, except for a couple of mil as always.

Pins are pretty cheap, its worth it to get the correct size IMO. 25 ga 1" for everything for me. some say you need 23 ga 1.5" for glutes but i am pretty lean and rarely hit them.

I agree, pins are cheap, 21ga. was what I started with, and boy did they make me sore, I thought it was the test, but when I switched to 23ga, all the soreness stopped.
I always use 1" too.
