    Question on shedding fat

I have heard things such as you burn 500-600 calories a day for every 10lbs of muscle you put on, you drop 1% bodyfat for every 2lbs of muscle, etc. With this is mind, after you come off a solid cycle....say you gain 25lbs of muscle on it...is it likely you will eventually lose a lot of your remaining fat by just maintaining this new muscle?

Thats definitely a hard question to answer. Over a long enough time period with the proper diet of course...but there are so many other variables that come into the equation, consistent training, retaining the gained muscle, maintaining the metabolism you had while on cycle. Your body goes through quite a few changes post cycle. With that gained muscle you will notice some fat loss...but you also need to take the proper steps to take the fat loss to the level you want.

I hate to tell ya bro but that equation doesnt hold up. Everyone is different and no metabolic rate is the same person to person. To shed fat you need to have your diet tuned in and have a full understanding of the caloric intake and breakdown. In addition to that you need to do something that will increase your metabolism such as cardio after training, cardio in the morning etc. There is no magic equation or rule of thumb. It is a basic nutritional and metabolical state that needs to be altered in order to promote weight loss.
