Inject without a pin
Actually, you CAN. It's called A PIC line (percutaneous intravenous catheter). This is a thin flexible tube similar to an IV line that is threaded directly into a vein, sometimes even just above the heart. It can stay in for extended periods of time, with only dressing changes nessesary. One stick, multiple "Medication" doses!! Of course, only a fool would go to this extent for gear, and also, this is IV and not IM!! Just thought I'd pass that along. (I'm a liscenced nurse)

No, what you're talking about is also referred to as a catheter. But An IV is also considered a catheter. Anything that is "Connected to your body's plumbing sytem", be it urinary or vascular, is considered a catheter.
