    Subq hcg shot - bruising?

    I did my second hcg shot. Both were subq, in the stomach area. Grabbed a pinch of skin, stuck the 29g5/8" pin in so it woud be between the skin and the muscle, and injected ~0.4cc of water/hcg solution. It kinda hurt. And today it's bruised and tender.

    Did I do something wrong? The first shot was just under 0.3cc and it went just fine. No tenderness at all.

    And before somebody asks, I did switch sites.
