I started it... I like it so far... It will take a few months for me to determine. By the way this should be in the workout forum...

I think it makes sense, my training is loosely based on his approach.

U are referring to the DC method of cycling right?

Literally everyone agrees it's a terrible idea, this is what I've read here from many mods and those in the know.

They say the workout stuff is okay, but the proposed cycling advice is not.

so the cycling's not so valid and the method of training is relative, depending on the individual. Right???

    That is a fair analogy.

I never read his cycling method, but I do like his workout method. I have been using it for a few months now and am happy with my results.

This is the first time I've heard negative feedback on DC, I think his ides of training havey and eating big is the best why to build muscle. I know nothing of his cycling methods so I can't comment

I did not even know he had a cycling method... So I guess it does need to be in this forum. Looks like it is ill advised though...

The training is the best I have ever done. In contrast to Diesel, I sweat more doing DC trianing than anything I have ever done. You have to be doing negatives on each rep and the rest pauses are insane. If you don't break a sweat from doing the statics, something is just not right.

The cycling doesn't make a bit of sense to me. I tried it with fast acting stuff like prop/tren /suspension.....and I had terrible sides due to the hormonal swings. I didn't recover particularily fast either.

In absolute fairness to DG......I do not train with a partner. Therefore, I could not take full advantage of the RP's and negatives.

I use his training program. I think its the most efficient muscle building program I've ever used. Never read a thing about his cycling methods.

I just started incorportating some of his techniques for lifting. I am getting more sore now than ever. Feels good and I believe I will be starting up a gym membership (vs. lifting in my home) so that I can start doing the entire workout. As for my results, that will be for time to tell.....

I understand you completely!!!!! There is no way you can take each set to failure and have the spotter lift it. Every set should end on the negative, with your spotter lifting the weight off you. Without a spotter, there is no way to push yourself as hard.

I loosely base my training around it & it's been good for me -never heard his cycling philosiphy - so can't comment.
I agree tho that it's not a great method if you workout alone (which I do sometimes).
