Ephedrine Question

Ordered some ephedrine the other day and just got it in. Heard it was actually "safer" than the ephedra. How is this?

Also what would be an effective dosage for this compound?

i dont kno if its any safer. i have read that 75mg a day is the most u should take. 25mg 3 times daily. thats what i have done in the past and worked well. if u have never taken it i would try 12.5 the first time just to see how it is. i could defintly feel the 25mg.

i didn't know there was a difference between ephedra and ephedrine

its basically the same

I've taken ephidrine pretty steadily for 5 years. I take 100mg. a day sometimes more. I have not had any problems yet. I also read that 100mg is a safe dosage for a healthy adult.

Ephedra is an extract. Ephedrine HCL is a manufactured drug that is uniform in quality. Ephedrine is usually thought to be more potent, but not too much so. I've used up to 100mg/ed while dieting, but had trouble sleeping without using sleep drugs.

inheritmylife's right on the money. Ephedrine HCL is considered the more effective supplement, and it works great. My reccommendation is that you take it in the morning to avoid sleep problems.

Thanks ive been using it for years just never knew the half life. The only problem is from about 4 oclock on i usually feel tired unless i pop another. I think ill try 10 and 2 and see how that goes.

Depending upon where you are getting that, you could be using up to 200mg/day. You may want to read around and see if anyone has died from using that much. Start at some of the pharmaceutical webinfo sites and then FDA garbage, Pubmed, blah, blah. Journal of endo and metabolism has some good stuff on ephedra.

Ive taken 300mg's + alot of alcohol when partying sometimes. I dont advice it, to much can make your heart twirl.

I use 50mg-100mg as a booster. But 25mg + 200mg-300mg coffein is enough if your dieting.

Make sure you dont over use it cause you can start an addiction.
