    Cardio on your cycle

    hey bros, as most of you know, weight gain and weight loss is based on one thing.....the ratio b/t total calories consumed vs. total calories burned.

    When your on your cycle, you probably eat protein and carbs like mad mothafuka in order to gain lean body mass. so my question is, do you still do cardio when on a cycle?? And how much?

    Wouldnt cardio just defeat the purpose of consuming as much 'clean' calories as you can?

    I do quite a bit of mountain biking in the summer (about 3-4 times a week for about 90 minutes each) so I'm hoping this wont interfere with my gains.

    I do low impact cardio 5 days a week on an empty stomach. I just roll out of bed and hit the treadmill. I think cardio is necessary throughout the year. At least 30 minutes, three times a week even if you are bulking.

    no it wouldnt defeat its purpose.

    Most people just do it to keep access BF off, and its good for the heart too.

    yea cardio is good.....im doing it for my cycle that i just started for the first time....my first 2 cycles I never did cardio so well see what happens (hoping to see some amazing bf droppage esp since im on fina

    I do it 3x a week when bulking, + i do alot of endurance training when bulking anyway.

    when im bulking i try and do 15-30 min after my workout....i notice it keeps me in shape so when i go to cut i dont go threw a lethargic stage

    Cardio is mandatory to be healthy
    just like you need to incorporate heavy resistance for muscles but also light resistance training to strengthen connective tissue and stabilizers.

    I do a lot of interval training with a heavy vest (100 lbs) etc.

    I dont do any cardio ever and always maintain 10% or less BF but... I am an ectomorph... If I work up a good sweat in the squat rack thats cardio enough for me to look great...

    I would if I needed to, and If I did on an empty stomach, i am sure I would be like 4% BF but honestly I need the calories....
