If youre talking about a test only cycle with proper pct, you should be able to keep a good amount of your gains. But pct is very important, along with high protein/calorie intake and consistent training.
Ill bump this, I am 20 years old, been working out on and off since ive been about 17, but the last year with a new job havnt worked out much, but the last 2months things have died down so im back in the gym 6- times a week. Most ive ever taken in my life is creatine an t-Bomb. in a few months after i get most of my strength back n get on a good diet i was thining of doing a cycle, but dont wanna become an avid juice user. If i only plan on doing one cycle, is it a complete waste and dont even bother, also(maybe a dumb quetion) but will i become very "lose" and "saggy" after i stop my first cycle
The key is maintaining the diet and workouts after you stop. Many get a psycological edge while on and then intensity when off goes down hill in diet, workouts, rest, etc.
I am guilty of this to a certain degree. It really depends on how dedicated you are and how many things are going on in your life.
I think you will be fine, as long as you do it right. Do your research on this board, learn how to come off properly(pct), and make sure you're ready. You should keep a good amount of the gains and you will look great when you're off. Problem is, most people don't want to just do it once. You will probably like it so much that you will want to experiment some more.Quote:

Also you need to keep training hard and heavy or your muscles will atrophy. The BUT in that is you need to reduce the time of your training not the intensity. You recover much better while on cycle so you can train with high intensity for a longer period of time. When you go off cycle stick to about an hour work out each training day. avoid cardio and keep your diet strict and high in protein. Done properly you will see a decrease in weight but not a very noticeable decrease in overall size.
If you do everything right no it isn't a waste but you must have a pretty strong will if you end up doing only 1 cycle...i said that myself too and im going into my third, im sure many guys can testify they thought theyd only do 1 and are far beyond thatQuote:

So when you are on steroids, the muscles dont need to rest as long as when you are off ?
thanx alot guys, my greatest fears are 1.once off it i will have a loss in motivation and drive then ihad before on my cycle and look even worse then i did before 2. hahah like u said loving n n just getting bigger n bigger n bigger 3. I trust the info all u guys r giving me, but ive seen alof of people come of cycles n in 2 months they look liek absolute ****, For right now im training 100 percent natural and hopefully i can obtain the look im looking for. im 6'1 and weigh 190 lbs , not ripped but muscular, like when i have a shirt on i look like i workot(just using it as an example) so i figure if i can naturally get up to 205-210 and be cut, ill be happy n no need for juice, but man doing one cycle and being at my goal sounds alot easier then training hard for 4 months n having a STRICT ass diet
if you can get up to say 300lbs on juice, then you should be able to maintain 250lbs fairly easily off the juice, if you eat well and stay in the gym...
I am buying enough powder this year and then vaccumn sealing it and storing it so i can pretty much stay on until I die...
I actually only plan to do 2 cycles a year starting next year... but you never know...
my intentions are def not to go into comp. or try this out as a career/way to make money. to be honest just want to look good, and be healthy, right now i feel like i need to train naturally for a few months n see if i can stick with it, if i cant do it now then i def cant do it after a cycle
with your attitude, just stay natural... you have no buisness doing steroids... i mean that in a good way... sounds like you will be better off with creatine, extra protien and training/food/rest...
Just bust your ass and eat right after your cycle, you have to fight the urge to quit and work out even HARDER than you did ON cycle, like the other bros said, eat right and train hard, take creatine along with a good pct you can keep enough of your gains. It changes your frame forever though you always look better.
I def understand with what you mean when you say i have no buisness doing steroids, i i just cant seem to get the defined look i want, ne one mind if i post my workout n diet n n u guys can give me some feedback(instead of the workout forum)
Dude, alot of keeping your gains depends on what drugs you are using. Most of the drugs where the gains are more retainable cost alot more money(var, winny, primo, suspension, Halo, Masteron, etc etc) The ability to keep gains on most tests is tough. If you continue to train hard and eat right you can probably keep like 60%, but never 100% no matter what. Actually, I think EQ is a great one for keeping gains. A perfect cycle would be 500mg/wk test, 400/wk EQ. I think EQ is the best all around drug there is, its a great one for a lean mass or a cutting run. I'd get some EQQuote:

Cardio 3 times a week, and abs 3 times a week, cardio 20 mins 2 miles
Ne suggestions to maybe gain a few pounds but more importantly get the rippes look?? or is htis workut not what im looking for, i pretty much devised it myself
Terrible routine bro, your hitting 3 large muscle groups in 3 consecutive days. My advice for a lean mass run would be to do a better spit, and weight train 3-4 days/week max, then eod cardio for at least 40 min. The cardio will keep you burning extra cals, while eod training will help the muscles recover even quicker. If it were me, I'd throw back in with chest, tues just cardio, wed legs, thurs shoulders tris like you got, Fri would be off, Sat, biceps abs cardio, sunday maybe cardio or off
Go to the workout forum and do some research. You can put together a better program than what you are doing now. Also, posting like your doing in a threat someone else started is :( . You need to start your own with whatever questions you have after doing research on this site.
whats eod training? was readingabout Dc training, but seems like thats more for strength gains???
would a good workout look something liek this
Monday- Chest - Cardio
Tuesday- Legs/Bi's abs
Wed- Running/Abs
Thurs- Shoulders/tris/abs
Friday - back/cardio
sat- cardio/abs

I bump this!
I am a 20 year old natural athlete. I have been working out for a year and half constantly, I have made my gainzzz, and work hard. I would like to know; I want to get to 195 pounds at 8-10% bdf, and I am 181 5'07" at 12-13% bdf
I want to be able to compete in football (american) therefore I need to increase my bench 225 x 10 reps or more, and overall strength, and speed. I train 4-5 times a week, also I train for speed, and agility separately. my question is how many cycle do I need, and will I keep my strength and gain, once stopped juicing with good pct, and diet.
Stats:
DL:455lb rm
Bench:225 rm
squat:365 rm
All that with 8 months of powerlifting.
My goal is to become strong, fast, and agile.
Cheers m8,

General rule of thumb
One is not enough and two is to many lol
It all boils down to how bad you want it .... I weighed 300lbs of fat when I started I wanted so bad .... And I can tell you honestly I hate working out and I def hate running but I want it so bad I can't stop ... Of I was naturally skinny I prolly wouldn't workout at all honestly ... But that's not in the books for me ... I'm naturally overweight ... I can stop working out today and gain 20lbs fat in 2 months ... And since I'm not natural slender that only gives me the options of being a fatbutt or getting the physique I want .... Solo you just push and diet right and keep on pushing ... Don't quit because it hasn't happened for you yet ... If you don't have the physique you want then you are doing everything you can do to get it ... Just keep up the good work and keep on
In 2005 I didn't even know what juice is. Other than OJ...
Teamcan just start a new thread. You will get more answers
It's BS. Nutrition determines what you will attain and retain. Always expect a little loss off cycle. A lot can be water but some muscle loss can occur. That's why they are called "cycles" because you run a few each year as part of your over all fitness goals and plans. How often and what you eat in addition to staying committed to training determine long term sustained results.
EQ is crap.
