It is barley anything. I wanted to know the answer to this very question once and what i did was after i injected my daily shot, I pulled the needle out and pressed as hard as i could on the plunger, spilling the drop onto a spoon. It was such a minute amount that it wasn't even worth the effort to do this. I wouldn't even worry about it.
if ya really wanna be sure, you can draw about .5 cc extra air into the syringe and inject the air after you finished injecting the substance...then hold it in there for about ten seconds...assuming you pulled / stretched the skin during...
I wonder how much is in an 18 guage? I use them to draw my stuff out, then change needles,seems like alot, but probably isn't .

Basic rule of chemistry is 15 drops equal roughly 1 ml.
I would guess and say 1/100 of a ml.
its actually .1ml, ive measured
it is quite a bit, especially in high mg/ml solutions
test 400, 40mg per shot!
.1ml, roughly. Back it up with a small bubble of air, or else "prime" the syringe with some sterile oil, about a half cc, and carefully draw the gear on top of it. Then the oil pushes all the gear out. That is if it is a big important thing. Now, .1cc is pretty small potatoes when you are doing a 3cc shot. But if you are doing a .5cc shot, it is 20% loss, which is significant. So, keep that in mind.
i leave about a half cc of air in the syringe and push the juice thru until the air give way. i use real light pressure so i get the rest of the juice and not all the air.
just make sure the syringe is parallel with the wall straight up and down so the air pressure pushes all of it through
