haveing trouble falling asleep especily after a workout plus i work a swing shift. I know i got to get rest so my muscles will grow and i was wondering if takeing some kind of sleep aids affects your growth? Does anybody have any input on this?

Don't know as far as hindering gains, but ambien works wonders.

I had the same problem. Went to doc and got script sleeping pills. Sleep like a baby and grow like one too. No problems here!

Try melatonin first. Make sure you purposely set 8 hours of sleep for yourself, its very good for a natural sup.

I have a buddy who works terrible swing shifts and is in the same boat your in. Your best bet is to not **** around and just go get a prescription for ambien. Sure everybody says a sleeping pill is not a good addiction, but whats worse, that or not enough sleep?
