Do you think it takes years off of your life?
i have been debating in my comp class all the sides and so forth and how to combat them and how to properly use anti-e's and how no one should use steroids under 25( although i am going to start my first at 20 w/ proper precautions) but all the teacher keeps saying is that it takes years off your life no matter how safe you are, but he smokes!!!! Do yall think it takes years off your life?

I doubt it does, unless you abuse them.

At what point do you think it will take years of your life. Years of use or just a few cycles. He is trying to make the point that once you shut down your testosterone once that you could be fubkd

You can bring your bodys natural test production back on.Post Cycle Therapy , if done properly, will take care of ya.Also, you can take test injections anyway, so its not like your bodys trying to get by with no testosterone , thats crazy. Your teacher probably knows very very little about steroids , because i used to sound like him about steroids before i actually researched them and got over my pre-conceptions and stereotypes. If you respect them and dont abuse them and take things to prevent side effects and protect your liver, etc., they can be safe, although their never altogether risk free. But i dont think itll take years off your life. Like booz said, ya cant do anything without anyone pointing out stuff thats unhealthy about it. FYI, im 20 and 2 weeks into my 1st cycle and the only negative things iv noticed so far are that someof my jeans and shirts dont fit anymore

I'd rather live 70 years of being proud of my accomplishments in physique and strength than live 80 years of being... normal.

taking moderate doses of injectables like test and deca and stuff prolly doesn't hurt you much at all. your blood pressure and lipids levels go back to normal after pct anyways.

The only thing that troubles me is your apparent age... still in college? I really think it is a total waste of your body's potential to use gear before your late 20's. But at least you are going easy on it.

Yah, I can understand the whole living to 70 happily instead of 80, but, think about it like this; what if you have grandkids and sh^t, once you get that old, all you want to do is live another day to see them graduate high school, become successful at whatever it is they do, ect ect. You know, all that **** that starts meaning more as you know time's running out. Then again, if you devote ENTIRE life to bodybuilding (no marriage, no kids) that's a little different. But for most people who are gonna have kids/grandkids....think about it like that. **** I sound like my grandpa..

Zuke has it right... I think medical science and hospitals and hip replacements have prolonged life longer than naturally intended anyway...
I dont mind getting a few greys, or sagging or being tired and slowing down, but I cant imagine wanting to live much past 65 anyway... If I live til 50 and look great and have a great life... its all good...
BTDR once said would you rather drive 100,000 miles in a mini van or 75,000 miles in a corvette ( well he said something similar )...

Don't Drive, it could kill you!
Don't eat fast food cause you'll die!
Don't Fly cause you could die!
Don't breathe in big cities because you might die!
Don't masturbate cause you'll go blind!
At some point you gotta say F- it and know that when it's your time it's your time.
In the meanwhile live like a Viking!

To loosely quote BDTR, i would rather look good and be the best in my prime then worry what this is going to do 50 or so years down the line.

Your teacher has no proof of that and ask Jose it adds years! : )

Ever see that movie 'super size me', where the guy eats nothing but mcdonalds for a month.THAT will take years off your life. I honestly think if ya give yourself plenty of rest between cycles, take reasonable doses and basically dont over-do it, then they wont take years off your life.

They have no idea. Takes off ur life???? no one knows when they gonna die. Its already decided from the one above. U can get hit by a car, U can get shot in friendly fire, U can die in a wrestling match (saw this in highschool wrestling) or just in old age. I knoe of people who died before their grandparents of "Natural death"
tell them Mugs to get a life..
