    thyroid question

    someone told me there was something they once took to speed up there tyroid.has anyone heard of this drug? if so like to hear feed back

    its called kelp, it has iodine that speeds up the thyroid

    Well, T3 and T4 are what the thyroid gland actually produce...so taking a supplement or drug of that would actually slow your thyroid production down, such as how synthetic testosterones slow your bodies own production..Your thyroid is under the control of your pituitary gland, so direct drug effects on the thyroid are not common..Dont know of a drug that will do that, but that doesnt mean its out there...Oh, btw, the pituitary gland is under control of the hypothalamus so increase production of any of these glands has to be done via that controlling glands.

    you can get kelp almost anywhere.....walmart, gnc, etc.

    oh ill have to ask the guy i talked to what he took than. cause he seemed to think it was only used to speed up throid and it worked . so he claims

    If you're talking about Kelp, yes, it's very legal.

    T3 is safe if used properly, yes.

    It will not speed your thyroid up, in fact, over time it will shut down temporarily. Once you cease use, your thyroid will recover. I highly suggest Thyroid PCT as well to aid this.
