usps vs fedex

my usual suplier just stopped sending via usps, now they only offer fedex. has anyone ordered using fedex, and if so did u get the gear? what to buy soon.

fed ex and ups private companies... so they can pretty much do what ever they want to your package... plus usps handles so much volume it's easier for " things" to get thru...

i m a ups driver and if a package full of gear was to bust open in my truck i to should report it, but that doesn't mean i would. i would ask the guy to hook me up with his source if he had good prices though...lol

Sounds like we might be ordering from the same place. I noticed my supplier doesn't ship usps anymore. I have since ordered using FedEx, and I got my $hit with no prob. True, they may x-ray. I don't know. My distributer shipped my products hidden inside some electronics so everything was cool.

garbage like this DEFINATELY should not be posted on an open board. i bet if your "supplier" knew you just told everyone how he ships his products he wouldn't be your supplier anymore!

as a branch of the US gov't, USPS has to respect your constitutional rights. fedex is a private company, so this doen't apply to them, but they're still allowed to tell the cops everything they find. big difference.

if your gonna use a mail source find one that uses standard mail. it takes longer but it has worked good for me in the past

I prefer, when I can help it, to stay away from FedEx+UPS because they can and do open some packages. Now if a source has great packaging it helps. :spudniklu

The main reason I wouldn't want to use Fed-ex or UPS is that if they come knock on your door and you answer there is a SIGNATURE required. Great evidence in court.
