Please critique my first cycle options

I am still working on designing my first cycle and in ready to buy my gear. After months of research and many emails from members offering advice (much of it contradicting each other), I think I have it narrowed down to two possibilities. I want my first cycle to be a bulking cycle. My goal is to get as much muscle mass as I can and keep most of it after the cycle is over. I am 5’4”, 150bls, 40yrs old, bf is about 15 percent. I have worked out for many years so I already have some decent muscletone but nothing even remote to what I should look like after all this time at the gym. Here is what I have narrowed it down to:

This is what most of the emails and PM’s suggest. Im only going to do one of these cycles:

1-12 Test Enan 500mg/wk
1-10 Deca 200mg every 3.5 days
1-4 DBol at 30-40mg a day for 4 weeks.
Nolvadex at 10mg ed
Arimidex / liquidex at .5mg EOD or .25ed


I don’t want to have the side effects of shooting test only twice a week. Im ok with shooting every day so I want to replace test e with Prop. From what I understand and what I have read, “test is test” and the halflife on prop is much shorter so its in and out of your system quicker with less side effects. What do you think about adjusting the above cycle to the one listed below? Can I do this and does it negate the need for dbol at the front of the cycle ?

Some other questions:
1. Can I put my test e (or prop) and deca in the same syringe on the days I take deca? I know you can do that with some of the injectible but not sure about those two.
2. What would be the proper PCT for these cycles? Would I start it 3 days after the last shot of prop or when would it begin if I went with test e? Would it be for 3 weeks? It seems a lot of people use either clomid or nolva for thier PCT and i just want to make sure im using what i should for these two possible cycles.

You said that your main goal is mass, so go with the first cycle you posted with the following changes:

#1 Up the deca to 400mg/wk...and you can shhot that 1/wk, no need to split

#2 run the deca 1 week longer than listed

PCT is easy, just follow pheednos pct in the pct forum, im too lazy to post it :rolleyes:

Yeah I say test e only for 10-12

agree with tai and angel test e only for 10-12 is good advice

then after you see how that works you can run your self a 40wk 6 compound cycle if you so incline :) j/k

you can mix deca with your test if you want in one shot

i would def go with a test only cycle on your 1st 12 weeks,see how you go with that then you can start addin things, you will b able to tell how you respond to watever drugs you are using then.plenty of time to start throwing in deca dbol and watever else in later cycles,go easy will b better in the long run.
