How does homebrew measure up to Vet grade?

I have never toured a vet lab, or even seen pictures.

Any of you know the process and precautions vet labs take when making gear? Do they filter through a .22 membrane like we do? What precautions do they take to decontaminate the atmosphere, etc?

Whether we want to admit it or not, our homes are full of digusting bacteria and microbes. It makes me wonder how much of that is ending up in my finished product, and what the result is concerning the safety of my gear.

Its true that we use BA and whatman filters, but we are still using the air of our filthy homes to inject into this once sterile vial. Is BA really strong enough to kill everything?

I once read a report about how filthy toothbrushes are. You can place your toothbrush 15 feet away from your toilet and come back a week later. Without being moved, the toothbrush has traces of fecal cauliform bacteria on it. Makes you wonder.

Good thing that I dont make my homebrew with toilet water...

I havent had a single problem with homebrew, nor has anyone that I know had a problem with homebrew!

Use what you feel comfortable with!

Atleaste if you hombrew it yourself you know exactly what is going into it. Even with Vet grade there are some doubts.

I'll never use UG or vet gear ever again. It's homebrew or human grade. but I'd still prefer homebrew.
