    Deca & Propecia????

I have a friend who heard a rumor that if taken together it will increase hair loss. Is this correct?

it is hard to understand why taking a drug that is meant to decrease dht would be effected so negatively by a drug that is not known to effect dht in the first place, deca has little effect on hairloss alone, why would it, in combination, make one lose more hair, but i am no doctor

i know that deca isnt a DHT derivative but its a derivative of something else that causes hair loss.

maybe those interact and cause problems

I read about. Taking a 5AR blocker like finasteride(ie.propecia or proscar) or dutasteride blocks the conversion of nandrolone to DHN in tissues such as the scalp. For this reason it causes hairloss. Deca by itself is supposed to be nearly entirely harmless to your hair so there is really no need for any hair protecter. DHN is a mild androgen, which is what 5AR's convert deca into, rather than DHT,if i recall correctly
