are my fat burners decreasing my gains?

How do I know if my fat burners are decreasing my muscle gains? As long as my daily caloric intake is way up there, and I'm getting all the protein I need, I shouldn't be in danger of losing lean mass when I'm taking fat burners, should I? Reason I ask is I've heard guys recommend keeping off fat burners until you've reached your size MAX, then using them to help cut. As for me, though, I'm not ready to sacrifice a lean physique today for a huge cut one in 5 years. So I'm wondering if I should still be taking fat burners.

I would have to agree with what you've heard...unless you really really know you're body...it's very difficult to lean up while gaining mass...and as long as you're eating pretty clean you shouldn't have to worry about gaining much fat with your muscle addition...it won't take you five years to cut after you're done adding when you do it right...pick one or the other and put all your focus on going thicker or leaner...you'll see results alot faster that way...rather than putting on an internal tug-of -war...xxxSass
