can u get AIDS from dirty gear?
just a thought, ive read that you can get all kinds of infections from unsterile gear, could you get hiv/aids from dirty gear.,
i read that some studies showed people gettin aids from using a dirty needled and drawing from the vial multiple times, which made the vial have hiv in it so it was capable of transmitting it to future usage.
could hiv survive in a vial, an oil based juice would seem like a suitable host to keep it alive. how long could it survive? how much blood would have to enter the vial to contaminate the liquid enough to transfer disease? would it be visable?
just somethin i came across, wonderin what u guys think of this. any medical experts in the house?

I think the HIV virus only survives so many minutes and in blood composition only.
Just put some bleach on it that will kill HIV on contact

its just something i read, i was readin how dirty gear can spread diseases and bacterias and cause infections, so i was just curious if it could spread the Big One.
so i researched a little further, and found a study on the likelyhood of transmissions, and one of them was health workers drawing from a multidose vial with a used needle, contaminating the vial with hiv, therefore injecting it into other patients on later injections. thats why its common practice for docs to use single dose vials. didnt say how long disease could survive in vial though, but i bet it could survive a lot longer in an oilbased solution, than it could in water.

bro cleanlyness is godlyness if you think you have some tainted gear , POUR IT DOWN THE DRAIN only use new sterile pins and the same goes for your barrels

If there was any blood solution in a oil bottle you would see it floating around.
I can only see someone getting AIDS sharing needles.

The gear would have to be un-sterile which would be hard to do since its steril and all
Your not confusing shooting it in your butt are you?

crazy post..i dont think you could get aids from dirty gear, dirty needles yea....well if somebody literally injected it in there themselves you might, but then still there is a high ba amount ..i was kinda confused how you described it...?? if you buy a vial and see that its been used? then i would be a kinda weary but i wont buy gear like that, used gear?? needles would probably be the big one to worry bout, but thats if your using needles over, or even somebody elses needles? and **** both of those.

Well I would have to guess if the person that made the gear had aids and was not
all that clean while making it Well 1+1 =

Scary thought but i do believe that a virus like aids needs to be in blood or a mimic solution to survive. It wouldn't last minutes let alone hours in BA.

AIDS is not an airborne disease. I'm not sure what the time limit is but the virus dies after being outside the body very shortly.
