bloody injection!

Did my first shot the other day ,left shoulder went good right shouder went good ,but when I pulled the needle out of my right shoulder my shoulder started pissing blood ,put my finger over it for a second moved it ,it did it again put my finger back over it again this time held it a little longer bleeding stoped,These wasn't my first shouder shots also had a nurse show me a while back where to go in the shoulders,I used 1'' 23g needles,I'm scared I lost my juice in the deal but the day after and so on it felt sore like it was in there,Never had this happen to me before,like to hear what some of you think about this.

well in my opinion...seems to me that you may have injected in the right spot but when you got to the end you pushed the plunger down probrably to get the last drop cause a suction and when you pulled the pic out the blood followed.....so in other words dont do that........did you aspirate before also?

you could have also passed through a vein, it happened to me a few times, you should be fine if you lived to post this lol.

No I did not aspirate before,and yes I'm still alive lol,do you all think I lost any of the goods?

Well...U know u should aspirate , your there
already, no reason not to IMHO.
Im no expert, but U probably just
passed through a vein like mentioned. I did
that last week, and bled a little, where normally
none. but I aspirated first, and knew I was fine.

you went throw a vain not a big deal. just make sure you asperate so you never shoot inot a vain

Its when you pull back on the plunger a bit to make sure your not in a vein. If you draw blood pull out change the tip(if you want) and stick in a different area.
