So, I'm taking my dog to the vet...

    Stanozolol For Veterinary Use
    by Barbara Forney, VMD
    Overview
    Therapeutic Class
    Anabolic Steroid
    Species
Dogs, Cats, Horses, Sheep, Goats, Birds, Reptiles
    Indications
Appetite stimulation, increased muscle mass, increased bone density, increased red blood cells.
    FDA Status
Approved for dogs, cats and horses: Controlled substance under the Anabolic Steroid Control Act (Schedule III).

    Basic Information
Anabolic steroids such as stanozolol are synthetic derivatives of the male hormone testosterone . Stanozolol has a pronounced anabolic effect with fewer masculinizing side effects than testosterone or some other synthetic anabolic steroids . Anabolic steroids are used in debilitated or weakened animals to stimulate appetite and increase weight gain, strength, and vigor. They should be used as a part of an overall program with other supportive and nutritional therapies. The effects of anabolic steroids usually last for several weeks.

    Dogs and Cats
Stanozolol is used in dogs and cats to treat debilitation by improving appetite, increasing weight gain, energy levels and strength. Stanozolol may be prescribed for the treatment of various forms of chronic anemia although the results can be variable.

So, if I bring my sick, weak, starving dog into the vet...do you think they will send me home with a bunch of roids?

LOL, j/k...I wonder if anyone has tried that before.

I was just going to grab a dog off of the street or my neighbors dog. They don't feed the poor guy. I thought maybe I would go over and stick him with some Test 250 and call it a good deed! LOL...

I worked in an animal shelter over the winter. I saw some horrific examples of under-fed animals. The worse has to be a starved cat. They freak me out for some reason. The shelter wasn't allowed to administer the anabolics but were taken to the vet. Which I have transported a couple of dogs there once.
