    High blood pressure

I had a question about blood pressure. My blood pressure is already a lil high, would a test cycle raise it up to dangerous levels or would I b ok? I no there r supps to take to help with it jus wanted some advice from the pros.

Get in plenty of omega fats and vitamin e. I reccomend 3 grams of fish oil and a gram or 2 of flaxseed daily. Keep a close eye on the situation. You can always get BP meds online if needed. Check with your doctor. If he or she isn't concerned with you BP being high enough for meds, you should be ok, just monitor it very closely.

Your dr has you on BP meds? Are you currently doing cardio? I can't directly answer your question as I'm not a medical professional but you need to consider just how taxing a cycle will be on your heart. I'm talking the exercise as well as increased bp from the gear.

If your treated for high BP you need to monitor it regularly on cycle. If its running high and your treated its time to adjust your meds with your doctor to get to an acceptable range well before you start a cycle.

Lots of factors play a part in blood pressure. You need to be very cautious. You need blood pressure meds under a doctors care, not an "OTC" solution. This isn't something to mess around with.

126/83 should be no concern whatsoever. Do a typical 500mg cycle/ week probably anywhere from 145-155/90-100. get some novasc prescribed for you if you need it and watch the sodium intake. Drink a lot of water, do cardio/ and make sure you eat healthy. A lot of variables, whats the BF at right now, could play a role also. Blood work ? what does it look like?

It's something that you would need to keep an eye on daily.
I think everyone should have an at home unit.

As much as I agree with you, if his doctor ismt concerned, he is probably over thinking it. Thats a good thing. If he thinks it a "little high", he needs a doctors care before his cycle if it truely a little high. Unless his doc sucks, I'm sure they would have him on something if it was a concern. Monitor very close.

I'd run the Cialis suggestion by your doctor when coupled with blood pressure meds. There's no need a split a cialis dose really.

10mg daily. And I do split the dose, but that's only because I only want 5mg as part of my pre-workout, not because it's better to take 2 doses. Half life is too long for splitting dose to matter.

His doc is concerned he has him on BP meds twice a day and his BP is still 126/83 pre-hypertension.

Ah gotcha. Didnt see that in the OP. That is a pretty good reading he has there. I'd say the cialis suggestion may very well keep him down there. Make sure to monitor it at least 2 to 3x weekly. Every day would be best. Good luck with everything. I think these guys have you covered!

30 minutes is good. Post workout is always best.

It's what it's advertised for. But also a nitric oxide booster, lowers blood pressure and good for prostate health.

Would supersetting reps n taking shorter breaks or even doing circuits b considered cardio?

Absolutely. I'd still add some aerobic activities though, it's not that hard to ride the bike for 20 after you lift.

Yeah. A ~20 point jump in systolic pressure is common, and likely more if estrogen isn't controlled.

Taking bp meds while cycling usually isn't an issue. You can't exactly talk to your doctor about that though so just read up in it.

How did you come up with this?
Of course you should keep your BP in check on cycle.

AAS are natural hormones, OP. There's not too many things that are contraindicated. Bp meds and statins are fine.

Whats a doctors main concern for someone my age (25) of not putting me on blood pressure meds? I have been having abnormally high readings of HBP last phew weeks, the last timei checked it did come down. The very first time i was in there it was 168/96 im sure a reading like that would ring alarm bells for some sort of treatment immediately.
