    Protein consumption whilst cycling

    Ive alway's read that the body can assimilate roughly 30g of protein every 2-3 hrs and that taking steroids increases your nitrogen retention thus enabling your body to assimilate more protein. So what would be a good figure to increase your protein consumption by? I know this would depend upon dosages of steroid and which one's used but just a rough idea. Cheers

    i think it's more than 30grams... that sounds kinda low... might b more in the neighborhood of 50-60 grams....

    It really depends on how much you weigh. Obviously a person weighing 250 pounds can consume more protein at one sitting than a person only weighing 150 pounds.

    I aim for 2g protein per 1lbs of body mass

    For me that equates to approx 400g of protein

    I eat 8 meals per day

    Each of my meals contains 50g protein

    Try to eat 2g protein per 1lbs of body mass

    its body weight dependent and i usually do 2g Per lb of lean mass but when running higher amounts of AAS which can increase protein synthesis i would up it by 10-20%

    yeah that's what i shoot for... no less than 1.5 per lb... ideal 2 per lb....

    yeah well i try to get more then 2g i weigh 197 and i try to intake over 200 if possible, works for me, plus i just shit alot now. i dont know if thats the protein of just cuz i eat so damn much!

    wow sounds like you dont have your diet in check there bub might wanna work on it and research a lil since that is the entire basis of all your anabolic gains

    i think your math is off... 2g at 197 is 394g...

    2lbs per lb of lean body mass, fat doesnt feed... muscle does!

    well depending on what AAS ur runing and ur macronutritional ratio's i would say go over by 10-25% shud be ok as long as as the rest of your diet is in tact to work w/ the increase pro. like EQ is suppose to have a HIGH increase on pro.synth. but thats just what i have heard .. somewhere around 20+% so eh.. logic says you can take in more than 2g Per lean lb

    i just thought that unless u were like 100 lbs soaking wet, 30g per meal is a little low.

    no excess protein would cause massively evil gass, problems w/ your gut and kidneys, its very toxic, and it would be stored as fat

    if you smell like amonia when you sweat... have bad gass like death... or stomache pains or bloating reduce protein gradually every few days until that evil shyt subsides... then start upping it slowly and try to find your opt intake.

    i asked a question about tha amount of protein u can take in every 2-3 hours and i beleive swolecat (maybe im wrong mayve been another moderator) told me that there is no proof of this

    everything i hve read says protein intake is based on your lean body mass times 1.5 or 2.. per day... just wondering how much protein u can take in at one sitting... i have read 50/60 grams.. but it probably also is different for every individual...
