    Bad Back Need Help

    BAD BACK
    I have 2 bad discs my l4 and l5 so my back gos out about every 3 to 4 months is there any thang that would help(steroids ) ? allso any one have back surg?how did it go?

    Dude, I don't think anything here will help you ... go see a dr. there are all kinds of medical options available to you; prednisone, cortisone shots, even surguries now are becomong "outpatient" style and bring major reliefs to disc issues. Good luck man...

    i had a steroid injection it was outpatient it only took like 15 min for the procedure. but after waiting before and after it was like hours. same thing L4-L5. you have to be real carefull when lifting

    i got sciatica a while ago mate,any severe back probs like that really needs complete rest until its sorted or you could make it worse,take a brake mate.

    this is what iknow best, surgery is THE LAST option!!!!!! how old are you.

    I herniated my L4-L5 and L5-S1 disks. They flare up sometimes, but I got over it w/o surgery.
