Site Injections

I've been thinking about doing site injections into my pecks-advantages/disadvantages?

Some ppl swear by them, some don't.

The advantage to doing Pec Shots is that you can act out that scene from "Pulp Fiction" while you do it...

I can't see too many other advantages though...

never did a pec I do bicep if I want my arms huge for a hot date. allso do cavs and delts.

bi's are just as bad as pecs for me. traps are next.

I'm in medicine, so here's my 2cents

pecs are a bad idea, could sever the long thoracic nerve or an intercostal nerve. Certainly wouldn't want to puncture the pleura covering the lung either.
Only safe areas are as follows: mid delt, upper outer glute and the outer quad.

Traps....NEVER. asking for piles of trouble. permanent trouble.

hmm.. ive sampled every site and never had any real issues. Pecs are my favorite but if you go shallow or vary from your mark, youll feel it for a few days.

I find pec shots relatively painless. They will hold a lot more oil than my delts, too. As a group, the delts are as big as pecs but remember, you are shooting just one head so there is less area for the oil to spread out. For rotation purposes I divide pecs into two shooting zones... both centered about 1-1/2 to 1-3/4" above the nips. One zone is directly over the nipple and the other about 1-1/2" inboard, toward the breastbone, from the first. That gives me 4 spots where I can drop a cc up to 2cc of gear. The only common site I never use is traps. I am pretty leery of all those nerves and how important they are.
