Got Caught At Border By U.s. Customs!
Here's what happened:
Last month I went down to T.J. to get gear like ive done many times before. I use a system that i never diviate from...smuggling containers, i go during the weekend when its busy and tons of people are crossing the boarder so i dont stand out e.t.c.. But i got cocky and confident, so i went down during a week day. I walked over the boarder and went to the Vet i always go to. I aquired 300 qv anavar pills, 2 bottles of Tornell test 250, 2 bottles of QV EQ, and 1 big 50ml bottle of QV enanth. Put it all in my smuggling containers which are metal and appear like normal conisters than a tourist would carry if staying in mexico for a trip, cept they are hollow. I walked though the maze, stood in line..when it was my turn i walked up told the customs guy that im a U.S. citizen, he asked if im bringing anything over, i said "no". Then i walked towards the x-ray machine, threw my backpack on it and waited...this time it was the only backpack on the convayer belt. They stopped the bag as it came out. The customs guy said "theirs something in those containers". they took out the containers and ran em through the x-ray machine by them selves...then they unscrewed the bottoms and saw my gear inside. They told me to stay put and two other customs guys came over. they twisted my arm behind my back ( It took both of them to do that hehehe) and walked me over to another table where they told me to put my hands on the table and spead my legs. They asked me what it was in the canisters...i played stupid. They then hancuffed me and walked me into another room where they patted me down, took my wallet and checked everything in there e.t.c. They asked me again..what the stuff was. I confessed it was steroids (not cause i was scared, but because they were gonna take it out and find out anyways, plus my story that i bought the canisters in the store and they must have already had that stuff in there...simply sounded rediculous.) I told them that its for personal use and im just trying to looked ripped for spring break...they laughed. Then they hancuffed me again and escorted me to another room across the way near where they search the cars...I waited there sitting hancuffed to a bench..for 6 HOURS! During that time they told me that they are gonna check if i had any record of smuggling before and they are gonna have some "investigators" decide if they want to prosecute me or what not. At this point I started to get scared because i have a record..not for gear or anything..just bar fights and what not. I was convinced i was going to jail possibly prison. After awhile the chief walks up and says that the amount is so small and since its my first time the fine is going to be $5,000..unless i can convince him by a statement then he can reduce it to $500. I filled out the statement best i could, telling him i dont have alot of money e.t.c...then he said he will let me go but i better be back in 30 minutes with the $500 or the fine is going back up to 5 grand. I had $300 in my wallet so i just went to the ATM in the customs station and got the rest and gave it to him....he gave me a receipt which is the only paper work i got...then they gave me my backpack and stuff and let me go. I found out through talking to various customs agents that were walking by throughout my 6 hours stay that: if i drove across with gear...they would have taken my car. The customs record is an "in house" thing and wont show up for employment background checks unless they run a "customs" check..which is rare they said. To be arrested they have to be convinced that you are a dealer and its not for personal use... or, if ive done it before...(they say they have caught guys with hundreds of bottles of gear before.) I asked them these questions because im currently on probation for some unrelated **** which my probation is over in 3 months...and i wanted to get a hint if my probation officer would find out about this...because she will violate me for leaving the state into another country AND having gear. Anyways...thats what happened to me...im in the middle of a cycle right now and im out of gear...Last edited by MBaraso; 02-03-2005 at 05:44 PM. hahaha victor. They wrote it down with a pen..then walked me over across the way to where people pay the fines...i paid..then they scanned the paper through a machine and it "printed" the date and time across the paper in the upper right hand side.

the case # at the top, the $500, and my name and address at the bottom where all printed in a bold type font..i smeared it. the 0 on the bottom is by pen ink..the chief did that when i gave him the 500 before he walked me over to pay...then after i paid..the clerk scanned the side of the paper and it printed the date and time in a different color ink along the side.

Sorry to hear that bro. I recently was in TJ just f*cking around not even looking to get gear and all 3 times I crossed. I got pulled to the side for additional questioning. I would think keeping illegals out of our country would be more inportant. Anyway yes customs is definatly on the look out and big 5'8 230lbs guys like myself might just wanna rethink things.
And another thing would customs strip search you? Like if you had **** in your croch?

Same thing happened to me when I was in the Army and stationed at Ft. Huachuca, AZ. I got busted in Nogales comming across. They striped me down to my underwear to search me. Then took me to another office to talk to a chief. I only had one bottle of primo on me though. They photocopied my military ID and let me go. They said that they wouldn't report it since it would ruin my TS clearance, but they would keep it on file to make sure I never did it again.
I later just hired a mexican guy to carry it across. But the experience sure did scare me.

YA...im not going back there again. To risky...if i get caught again, im gonna get nailed hard. Its not worth it. Id rather pay $80-$100 bucks for a bottle of Test and let the source take the risk. I got it for $20 over there...but id rather pay the extra cash and let someone else deal with the risk. Hey "I-Wish-A-MF-Would"and "9000 rpm". they didnt strip me down to my boxers and search me...but they did a seriously thourogh pat down...the dude straight grabbed my balls and felt around between my ass crack...these guys got no shame...they are seriously looking for stuff. They made me take off my shoes turn em upside down and shake em and bang em together and they made me turn my socks inside out. These guys werent cops they had guns though..they werent normal green uniformed boarder patrol. They had badges that said "homeland security"

Im thinking that the only safe way to to a T.J. run is:Walk or drive across, get the gear, walk over to a T.J. post office, and fed-ex it back. Do you guys think that would work?

whats the percentage chance you guys would think the package would come through? Im thinking 70%. I think new brew is likley right. Packages from tj would be seriously scutinized by customs. Makes me feel better that the dogs cant smell the gear...but those **** x-ray machines is what got me the last time.

Needle... if they find gear in your car crossing the boarder...they can sieze your car! i donno bro, i donno. Thinkin about just trying to brew my own gear...i dont wanna risk crossing boarders, mailing shyt e.t.c. cause if i get caught again....they will nail me!

I've done both, walked and drove. I would rather drive any day. You just need a good spot to hide the gear and your good. I have walked across with the gear in a bag of chips and would eat the chips right in front of the officers. That has worked for myself as well as many of my buddies. I have also taped them around my legs and walked across. I am usually a bit buzzed from drinking while I'm there, that helps take off the edge.

pay
my buddy always had a guy that lived there and crossed the border everyday and they pay him 50 dollars to carry it across to them. It always worked. The mexicans that cross everyday, do not get checked, He went to the same border and used the same guy to carry his gear across everytime. Never had any trouble. They just did not give the guy the 50 until he brought their gear across to them. They would go over themselves and buy everything, theb neet their guy, give him the stuff, they would cross then the guy crossed with gear and gave it to them.

I don't know about walking. I was told in my face I was a "big dude" and stuck out big time and that's why I got pulled to the side. I guess you have to roll the dice. Who want's to bring their car to TJ anyway LOL?

pay a local to cross with it, that is the best way, like someone already said they don't get checked. I know people that have gotten 100's of bottles across that way without ever being caught.
