do steroids inhibit natural growth if taken by a kid?

if someone whose say 17-20 years old (obviously too young to be cycling) takes some steroids ... is it likely that they can inhibit their own natural potential?

it closes your growth plates. wait till 25, ya got a ton of test in your blood anyway!!

well i guess what i mean is... would it be much harder for them to gain naturally after taking the steroids ?

yes it would shut down their HPTA axis and mess with their system too much which is still growing.

Depends, I say yes because your test levels will never be as high as they were before cycling, if you use it at that age. Don't do it.
