    Torn pec uk

I thought i would share my experiences of the tearing of my left pectoral and rehab , has this information may help others

june 4th 2005 went to gym with a few mates

bench presses 1 plate a side for 10
    2 plates a side for 10

    then 3 plates

on the 4th rep as the bar was coming up about 5 inches of my chest i felt it tear a few people grabbed the weight of me, it hurt but not a lot

went to physio 2 hours after

he said it may be torn and arranged an Mri scan, in the meanwhile rest and ice was recommended

    June 8 2005

had mri in morning , lasted an hour , hard to fit in the machine

i managed to persuade them to let me leave with mri results

june 8 2005 pm – went to sports ortho specialist, he confirmed a complete tear off the bone, but said tendon and muscle looked good, and said this is a easy repair. if the tendon had come away from muscle lots worse.

he said he would put some anchors in the bone and using a super strong stitching material fix the tendon

    june 17th

had my op lasted 2.5 hours

I woke up in a special sling which fastens round waist and shoulders arm is bent 90% at elbow and facing forward.

This sling is hell to wear cannot sleep in it , spent most of time sleeping in armchair for a month.

Jul 18th went to see sports ortho. He told me operation was a success and gave me a basic cloth sling.

If I keep my upper arm straight against my body can move at elbow and hand, motion is severely restricted.

Will begin physio at 6 weeks post op jul 29th.

I have photos of injury at all stages will add.

i did the same thing back in march, i tore the tendon off the bone and tore 2/3 of the muscle from the tendon
i had surgery and im in physio now and the doc says he expects me to make a full recovery, meaning same strength muscle size and shape
my buddy just tore his pec yesterday too, seems to be happening to everyone

how long did it take for you to get back in the gym?
i'm asking this cause they(docs) keep wondering how i got this extreme fast recovery.i thought that it was cause of the hgh/igf but winny100 uses more hgh then me and seems to recover a bit slower and he had the exact same surgery as me as it sounds.could it be the igf that works so good then?

i hope you all recover soon

my recovery probaly could be quicker but i am keeping my sling on for six weeks just to be safe. if i am correct rodge you took yours of after 2 weeks. i am following my orthos instructions exactly.

he said to me no physio till 6 weeks post op , I have already started moving my arm at elbow and below , and intend to start training 10 weeks post op. i think with the gh and deca i will come back quickly , normally i take 3.3 ius of growth a day but have upped it to 5 iu while i am injured. i will run it at this dose for the next 3 months.

Also when injured i was using a lot iranian enthanate , and had cut back on my gh ,instead of my normal stack which is mostly deca, dbol and gh

Are these injuries being caused by heavy flat bench and testostorone weakining tendons.
