If one were to do a long cycle - say 20 weeks of Test and EQ - and decided to throw in some tren for the last 8 weeks, would PCT recovery be extremely difficult (HCG at the end too) due to the suppression from the tren and length of the cycle?

You surely might consider hcg. 2X a week till end of cycle.
extended clomid at 100mgs ed and nolva 20mgs ed for 4 weeks along w/ the hcg should do it.
HCG during the cycle, pct now ever you deside, run the ending dose until you get your sex drive back
