safety w/ needles and syringes
just how ok would it be to reuse syringes if needles were changed every time

I would not do it. They are as cheap as 15 cents each in quantity. Walgreens I think will sell them one-one for 17 cents. I bet walmart is even cheaper. THe highest price I remember seeing online was still only about 25 cents each. So you aren't saving any money. Sterilizing the used syringe would be very inconvenient and add to your cost. Risk would be fairly low, but why add any risk at all? No, not okay at all, IMHO. No reason to do it, and plenty of reasons not do to it.
