    pain!!

I just injected today in my quad and it hurts (prop w/Eq), injected in my glute and it didn't hurt NEARLY as much. Does anyone else find that glutes hurt less than quads. And how does delt compare?

Delts were the least painful for me with Prop! Thighs being the most painful and Glutes and Pecs are somewhere in the middle. It gets better though as you go!

Good luck and stay safe, MJ

do you mean that your muscle get used to the injections? How long does the soreness usually last for people?

I use a 1 incher and my delts aren't that big , YET, so will it cause problems going in to far? Should I be concerned with this?

I can only inject prop in glutes and pecs because of the soreness it causes.

Well, yes & no! I really think that mentally you kinda handle it knowing that the soreness subsides by the time you have to hit that same spot again and you've lived through it time & time again so its just part of the game and you accept it as such!

You should always use a pin long enough that you do not have to sink it in balls-deep. Pressing the ferrule against the injection site is a no-no according to my (now)ex fiancee who was a CNA studying for her RN before she started dancing.

I only buy 1-1/2" pins these days. I just don't stick it deeper than I need for whatever site I am shooting. I hate having boxes and boxes and bags and bags of every assorted size and guage.

I have never had any pain with the quads or glutes. I prefer quads, all you need to do is find that sweet spot on your quad and your set.

I use 25g 1" needles for my quads and find this ok. There is a general aching afterwards when i inject my prop, but i find it best to inject after a hot shower and gently massage the site for a good 5 minutes.

just add some oil to the syringe, should clear the pain right up.
