    Talking Leg Twitching When Injecting

    You know how sometimes you get a pulse in your eye?

    Your eye twitches a bit and you can't do anything about it!

    Well, i just stuck myself in my quad and my leg did that funny twitchy pulse type thing

    Looked pretty funny actually, i've never had a visible pulse in my leg before

    I know i didn't hit a nerve cuz i didn't jump out of my chair or squeal like a little girl

    What do you think causes this pulsing effect?

    Maybe mild shock or trauma to the muscle

    Any theories folks?

    Yeup I agree. You should be carefule b/c I did that and continued with my injection and my leg was swollen for 2 days.

    This happens to me all the time but only in my left leg, it must be the angle I hit as I am right handed and never have the problem with my right quad. Its a nerve

    Didn't hurt at all

    Isn't it supposed to hurt like mad when you hit a nerve?

    I got a spasm/pulse near my knee, then one near my hip a second or two later

    I didn't inject anything, just took the needle out

    I just withdrew the pin and went again

    i don't think u hit a nerve, but u probably got close to it. this has happened alot when i shoot quads, it's one of the reasons i like shootin delts now. seems like less nerves there..

    Happens to me quite often. Only in my glutes and quads though. As i'm sticking it in the muscle starts twitching. Kinda freaky, but you gotta do what you gotta do.

    Still think it must be something other than a nerve

    Either that or i just got close to one without hitting it

    Trust me, if i'd hit a nerve i'd have screamed out my little bitch lungs til they bled!

    i have come close to a nerve and i have also hit a nerve... hitting it felt like a real bad toothache only in my leg... comming close gave me the twitches

    that used to happen to me 9/10 times I injected quads. That is one of the reasons I never inject there anymore.

    I know it's nothing to be worried about

    Just wanted to know what causes it

    Seems to have happened to alot of you

    Is it definitely caused by a nerve?
