    Injection: troubleshooting/tips

any tips on how to relax ur quads for injections? i know that if u point ur toes inward it relaxes the glutes.

during my injection today it was tough to get the pin in to my quad and it caused some pain...im thinking that the muscle was tense or flexed. I had to pull out and try another spot which was less tough but somethin g wasnt right.

I get on my bed, sit up and put my leg straight in front of me on its side, bent and relaxed.

Having my leg straight with no bend in the knee and also having the leg elevated does it for me. The muscle is looser when the knee is not bent, the elevation makes it easier to reach. I do this sitting down.

Just do the delts. It's painless and easy. If it painful on your legs, just put some ice to numb it. Trust me on the delts.

Just don't like doin legs cuz I always hit a vein 1 out of 3 times. I could inject a 1.5" needle all the way on the delts with no problems. Guess it depends on the person.

quads are really easy to do because you can use both hands to inject. I just sit back in a chair and put my leg out straight and go nice and slow because it's quite relaxing.
