I'm new to a55 shots cos I've always done quads or delts and was wondering when you shoot into the gluteus medius can you go in from your side as well as the back? :scratch:

Was wondering cos then it would be less awkward and would enable me to do my left cheek with my right hand (cos I'm super ham-fisted with my left hand).
ive alwasy done it from tha side, never had a problem, sure u could do it from tha back but i dont see how u would check your aspiration
I asked cos I just did my first from the back. My hands are shakey anyway, so to twist around as well was putting a fair bit of motion into the needle.

yea, i just do mine standing up, if u havent tried tha side it will be much easier than from behind
I hit gluteus medius regulairly as part of my rotation. It is definately a side shot for me.
