    shake it like a salt-shaker

do you need to shake your vials before you use them? Does it even matter with water or oil-based? Or is there no difference?

you would only need to"shake" an amp mate and thats only if some of the oil is caught at the top,why do you think you might have to shake vials?

I usually give my vials a turn over before I draw form them. I don't shake them, but I mix it up a bit. Not so much out of necessity, rather from habit. I'm in a chem lab all the time and it's just common practice for me there. Hell I even shake my milk before I pour it.
