    Cutting Cycle Question??

When you guys have done cutting cycles, for the most part, does your starting weight stay the same but there is an obvious change in your lean body mass and fat composition and distribution? Or do you still gain some weight while dropping body fat?

The reason I ask is because three months ago the board suggested that I attempt to get to my pre shoulder injury weight naturally instead of with juice. In three months I have gone gotten back to my original weight, from 172 to 203 (8% BF) 5' 11", 24 yrs old by training hard and eating like crazy. I wanted to do a cycle but people at school keep asking me if I am on the juice. I have done two cycles before and was thinking of a third.

That is why I was wondering about the weight gain on a "cutting cycle".

I also wanted to thank everyone that suggested that I attempt to get to my original bodyweight naturally. It was the best thing for my shoulder.

the reason for a cutting cycle is so that you can restrict your caloric intake, and do more cardio whithout the worry of losing your hard earned muscle tissue.

So during the cutting cycle, your body composition changes....you lose more fat, and possibley gain a bit of muscle tissue.

So to answer your question, your weight should not dip too much, and on the other hand it should not rise too much also. Muscle is heavier than fat so you may be getting a bit lighter, while at the same time looking bigger.

Everyone is different tho...you will have to learn how your body reacts through experience.

Use the mirror to judge your progress, not the scale.

Also make sure your diet is on point

You must be getting very defined. I was thinking of running Prop/Eq next time around.
