Needle size for test E
What's up fellas? I am currently planning my first cycle, which will be test E. I'm going over the logistics in my head and I'm not sure about choosing needle size. I honestly know nothing about needles. I see there are different gauges, needle lengths, and sizes of syringes in ml. If I plan on injecting test E twice a week at 250mg each, what would you guys recommend?
Again, I'm sorry if this seems like a stupid question. I've been looking around and ready and I'd just like some clarity. Thanks in advance.

get 23 gauge.. 1" for quads and delts.. 1.5" for glutes.. however if all you are doing is one ml at a time you can get away with 1" on glutes

I've used as big as a 22 guage (wouldn't reccomend) 23-25g's are the most common, better read up on injection procedures too. You can screw yourself up by not being sanitary or using proper procedures.

For filling the syringe I use 20g and then switch to a 25g for injections.

22g to draw.
Injecting: 23g if you're impatient or don't want to heat the oil.
25g if you want something smaller.

I am doing this exact same thing and using the 23 gauge with 1 inch pin. I heat a bit of water in a cup in the microwave for a minute, throw my amp in it, let it sit for a couple minutes while I gather my gear, then I draw and pin with the same needle. It is not an issue at all. I only pin quads and it is damn near pain free doing it this way. The pins are so sharp that in most cases you do not even feel them. Warm oil goes in smooth and there is never any pain or bruising afterwards for me.

25g works just fine. It doesn't really go that much faster to use a 23g

I have always use 22g 1.5inch and have never had any problems.

So far 18G to draw and 22g 1.5 to inject glutes. No pain what so ever.

Looks like all the needle stuff has been covered. I would suggest caution at this point...if you hadn't learned that in your reading, well then you probably haven't done enough reading. I picked up injection knowledge accidentally well before understanding other, more important things. But that is just me.
Stay safe.

22 1.5 works great for me in glutes I feel nothing at all.

When I was injecting the first time I had a real hustle to suck the test in from the vial. I thought I would need a larger needle.
Turned out I just had to warm the vial up a bit.

Thanks guys. I am def gonna be doing a ton more reading a watching videos online. I would really like to pull the juice and then inject with the same needle, which would be a gauge I'm understanding. Would this be alright or is it more advisable to go with a larger needle to draw the steroids from the vial and a smaller gauge to inject? Also, do you guys order the syringes and then order/buy extra needles just for the purpose of switching after you draw the juice? Just trying to clarify, it's not like I'll be doing this tomorrow or anything.
